Step 5: Fees optimisation

At this stage, you will need to choose how you want to process your deposit:

1️⃣ Instant Deposit – Your deposit will be placed immediately, but you will pay the full Ethereum network fee at the current rate. 2️⃣ Smart Deposit (within 24 hours) – To optimize costs, we have developed a solution that reduces blockchain fees by 95%. Your deposit will be placed within 24 hours when network fees are at their lowest.

Choose your preferred deposit method: Fastest or Balanced based on fee and processing time preferences.

💡 Understanding Network Fees

  • Blockchain fees are not based on your deposit amount but rather on Ethereum network congestion at the time of the transaction.

  • The liquidity provisioning strategy consists of more than 20 steps, making manual execution costly and complex. If done independently, fees could reach $200 or more during high congestion periods. With our solution and option Smart Deposit, we automate the process and cover 95% of the total network fee for you.

Once you've chosen the preferred option, click "Select" to proceed to the final confirmation screen.

Step 6: Deposit confirmation

On the final screen, you will see all the details of your deposit:

  • Deposit amount

  • Current interest rate

  • Ethereum network fee

  • Slippage-adjusted result

If everything looks correct, click “Confirm” and additionally approve the transaction in your wallet.

Final review before deposit: check the amount, interest rate, fees, and expected slippage result, then click 'Place deposit' to proceed.
💡 What is slippage-adjusted result?

When withdrawing funds, the final amount may slightly differ due to exchange rate fluctuations or the slippage effect.

Let’s break it down with an example: If a user deposits 4,000 USDT, our smart contract will automatically convert it into the required assets to be placed in a liquidity pool as required on Curve, for instance:

  • USDC → 997.00

  • DAI → 1000.04

  • MIM → 1014.07

  • USDT → 1000

These are approximate values because Curve’s algorithm dynamically determines the proportions at the time of exchange. Additionally, this does not account for Curve’s trading fee.

Now, when a user withdraws their assets and converts them back to USDT, the exchange rates might have changed:

  • USDT → 1.001

  • DAI → 0.9998

  • USDC → 1.00

  • MIM → 0.97435

Since USDT is now slightly more expensive than $1 and DAI is slightly cheaper, their exchange rate multiplies, leading to an adjusted conversion rate:

  • DAI → USDT = 1.0012

  • USDC → USDT = 1.001

  • MIM → USDT = 1.02665

Now, converting the withdrawn amounts back into USDT, we get:

  • DAI 1000.04998.84 USDT

  • USDC 997996 USDT

  • MIM 1014.07987.74 USDT

  • USDT1000 USDT

Total: 3982.58 USDT instead of 4,000 USDT. Loss due to slippage: -17.42 USDT.

However, slippage can work in your favor as well—in some cases, you may receive more than you initially deposited.
